My word for 2015 was “Enough” and I feel like I embraced the word more than I ever dreamed I would. There were more times than I care to admit where I felt like I could not begin to measure up, but when I stopped and thought about the situation I always came back to the truth that if God loves me right where I am, how could I not be enough?!
It’s not always easy to remember that you are loved beyond measure, but it is definitely one of those things that you have to keep working on. I will enter 2016 knowing that I am enough. Yes, I can improve on how I do certain things, but who I am as a person is always enough.
I have an idea of what my word and scripture for 2016 will be and I hope that at this time next year I can say that it has been a word that has provided me a great deal of focus.
I am really looking forward to 2016.
