Being an aunt is pretty amazing. You play, have your special jokes, go for ice cream and SONIC’s, and you love like you never have before. I had the privilege to love two nephews when they were little before my children came along, and it was one of the biggest joys of my life.
My sons have an Aunt who would give her life for them. Never, ever was she scared by hemophilia…she just wanted to know when they could go to the zoo or get ice cream. Her main objective with my sons has always been to love them. And love them well she does, indeed.
I want to wish my sister-in-law, Tawn a very, happy birthday today. Knowing how deeply and passionately she loves Julian and Caeleb is breathtaking. I couldn’t ask for more. She loves my sons as if they were her own…no judgments. Knowing someone else on this planet, other than me and my husband, who love my boys so deeply is more than I could have ever asked for.
