God called me to ministry when I moved to New Mexico seven years ago. I did everything I thought I was supposed to do and things were not moving in the way I planned. I had a message to share! Where were the opportunities to speak and minister? I read the blogs went to conferences, developed my bio sheet and did what I thought was next, but what I failed to realize was that it was not the right time.
I was speaking and ministering, just in a different way. A different venue. I was the “pastor’s wife” in a small church and was automatically in the role of minister and teacher and I embraced it. I love being a pastor’s wife. It is one of the biggest blessings in my life.
It’s funny how our dreams look in our hearts and when God says “It’s time”, then it is more amazing than you could ever imagine!
I received another call today to speak at an event in November and between today and the end of January I have five speaking engagements booked! One is a retreat and a day long workshop. I guess you need to be careful what you wish for, not because the devil’s coming after you, but because God is blessing you.
Today I Am Thankful For:
- Unexpected phone calls
- A great IV
- Cold fronts after a rainy day
- Hot air balloons
- Being busy
