If you are a churchgoer, you may be a person who attends services and goes home. There’s nothing wrong with that. You come to get filled by the words and actions of others each week to start your week off on the right foot. That’s wonderful!
Others of you are actively involved in committees and groups within the church. That’s great! It’s not for everyone.
I have one question for you tonight.
If your answer is to be a part of reaching others to further the kingdom of God, then fantastic!
If your answer is to simply “be in charge of something” and feel “important,” I bet you are not thinking about the power of Christ in your life. Maybe you need to step back and reevaluate your purpose of serving.
